What is the recommended SIA to enter for temporal clear corneal incisions?

For temporal clear corneal incisions, the recommended centroid SIA is 0.10D. This takes into account the vector nature of astigmatism and provides the best average result across surgeons, as shown in multiple published studies. Which IOL platforms does this calculator support?

Does this calculator include posterior corneal astigmatism correction?

Yes. When the PCA toggle is enabled (default on), the calculator applies a systematic offset based on the Baylor/Koch method: approximately 0.30D is subtracted for with-the-rule (WTR) astigmatism, where posterior corneal astigmatism opposes and partially cancels the anterior corneal astigmatism. For against-the-rule (ATR) astigmatism, 0.30D is added because posterior corneal astigmatism compounds it.
